I can feel September
Feel the chill of forthcoming winter as she warns of her arrival the animals huddle together for warmth in the garden,in theart of survival I lay in bed feeling the season enter my bones tonight I'll listen to the wind outside, her high pitched howls and moans school begins again, will sitlate afternoonin class watching the day darken earlier, through laboratory glass as summer leaves us, some may shed a tear Some warn of September as I whisper "She is already here"
