I Cheated On Time

Some Time ago Time and I stood back to back on withered battlefields We spent our Time staring at the clouds looking for rabbits Andshe never gave up on eating atmy dirty habbits See Time and I were very close I told her everything and so did she My Time was not wasted because in me she loved dearly She nestled herself in my dreams Time never stood still she always insisted on dancing And money well-spent on dinners so fancy She always loved me... and my habbits But some Time ago I left Time I found someone more tangable Someone I've rested my body into It seems Time has become jealous Time insists on making life hell for me Whenever I'm not with mylover Time seems to go slow And whenever I'm with my lover time seems to speed up She's destroyed the life I see in love I know I've betrayed Time And I have said I'm sorry Please Time,takemy apology I've lept into my own battlefield of shame I've given up the goose chase, I'm playing my own game I'm sure some day you will find a component to your cogs But today I rest in a soul inwhich I was meant to be And in this soul I've never been more happy.
