He touches me With undying bliss I feel emotions Sailing on seas of stillness Moving mountains a high I could fall in love with him. But I choose not Though his stillness moves me Though his soul drowns me I choose not to love Times before I would have But his presence is too much His skin – too gentle And his voice the softest of His greatness embraces me A choking embrace I’ve craved He sees me sink He smiles knowing I’m saved He knows well A woman’s tremble The way to touch With grandeur grace For this I could love him But I choose not
