I DREAMED A DREAM * She came here looking for praise But that ugly old woman looked out of place No one wants to look at that Only beautiful people have talent The loaded with botox judges gasped And thought her a joke, who would fall on her ass The dress that she wore didn't flatter In fact it made her look even fatter Her eyebrows were like Leonard *Brezhnev's I wanted to run and pluck them. She'd never been kissed in her life Who in the hell would want to fuck her? Most in the audience looked perfect Inflatable bosoms and teeth all done up Hair extensions, fake nails and then, I wonder where the fake ends and the real stuff begins? When they asked for her age, they cringed I'm nearly 47, but that's only one side of me she chirped As she wiggled her hips, they looked on in disgust As the old and the ugly don't inspire such lust. She really has the nerve, auditioning for a talent show at 47 When she said her age, they all rolled their eyes But they all would be getting a big surprise Her self-confidence was amazing for an ugly old woman Because she knew what she had to "show" them. As she straddled her feet, grabbed the mike,and cut to it She smiled her bad teeth smile and with what came next Her god given talent blew away all the rest! What came out of her mouth was nothing short of amazing the sound of her voice it was mesmerizing!
