I DREAMT OF YOU LAST NIGHT * I dreamt of you last night as I often do, And I often wonder, have you dreamt of me too? * As we loved each other in my wildest dreams, I heard your soft moans asyou muffled my screams * Did you feelmy urgency, that sense of need when we wanted each other tillweak in the knees? * Your touch, the softest I have ever felt the sensation our bodies wouldmergeand melt * The feel of my core so totally consumed The sense of being filled till there was nomore room * The feeling of rapture as I pulled you in tight the feeling of your surrender as I love you just right * Did you feel me tugging hard on your sheets, and impatiently waiting for my blissful release? * Ourbodies intertwined in brief satisfaction, as we awaitedthe time when we could begin again * As you whispered so softly while kissing my ear and talkingyour sexy talk that I like to hear * The scent of my hair as it covered your chest whendrained of all strength how you needed to rest * The thump of your heart when it joined with my own how our sweat reflected off the candle in the room * How the shadows on the walls that once startedlong, were now barely visible asthey fadedwith dawn * The smell of your body The taste of your skin Thelight of the sun as it started peeking in * Your sculptured tight body so beautiful in stature howIwon'tsee another before then or after * The whole world shut out till there was just one another Two lovers who found solace in spite of each other. * WordPlaya, February 24, 2010 ****************************************** He gave her a look you could have poured on a waffle ~ Ring Lardner ~

I enjoy writing and since rediscovering the power of poetry, it has brought me much joy! My favorite poet is Richard Brautigan, and I am a big fan of freestyle poetry, as I find it less limiting and most creative. I also like spoken word poetry. ...
