My tears fall like drops of rain On a lonely afternoon My heart lies like shattered glass It aches and bleeds for you Life can be so hard sometimes When you are all alone With the one I loved and cared for gone I sit solemnly in my home I find it hard to cope with it Your presence will be sadly missed I will never forget our great memories I will always remember your kiss No one has ever made me feel Quite as good as you I know I've said I've loved before But baby, it wasn't true Being with you made me proud I always appreciated you I often never showed my thoughts But know that they were true Sometimes I wish I could erase That stormy night we fought But I know that we are over now Nevertheless I will miss you a lot This poem may not affect you Not now or even ever But you have affected me To this day and forever You are the reason I hurt, And the reason I try So for one last gift, I give you my tears And for you I cry
