I had a dream

Had a dream like always, no big deal but, only this one’s mood stuck like glue An experience, it made me think well, thoughts or facts, is there a link? I was away with friends very close to me in a far off place, quite content Something was different, the sky was so clear Then suddenly out of nowhere snow appeared We were all excited, the scene then changed I was all by myself, unfamiliar, estranged In a building standing at the door I saw me, myself and nobody Staring outside, looking up at the heavens Wind started blowing higher than shrill I saw movements, heard a scream felt worried, not realizing it was only a dream Snow started falling, crashing down on my path Not peaceful as snow should normally be I looked to my right, before a think could be thought Five white doves flew, my mouth opened in awe In the background I heard a choir sing Something will happen, someone’s coming I looked back as words fell from above It read: “You forgot me”. Forgot. Forgot. Forgot I was love? At that moment my soul left the now flew up with the doves, lost in time somehow Trying my best to validate me Innocently realizing, something inside me moved I woke up astonished, my heart beating madly It was only a dream, I must admit sadly
