I hid from death
I hid from death in a cemetery, i met a child with bandaged eyes pointing to a burning tree, i swore she was the reaper disguised. I fled and hid from death beneath a derelict railway bridge i met a child with burning eyes and eternity's breath pointing towards an oncoming train. Death snared me on a train decorated with moving images of my life history,my bandaged screams hang in the air, a child emerges from a burning tree her eyes are a tattooed skelton key, with blazing clarity i see a valley of glass awaiting me.
