I JUST CAN'T WRITE IT RIGHT NOW! * I Just can't write poetry Painted happy love flowery Filled with beautiful imagery golden sunshine to shower me I want it so dark I can't see the clouds I want it so quiet I can't hear a mouse Though others are happy And beauty surrounds me I just can't appreciate much of anything right now! If friends call and ask me "Do I want to go out?" I just close the curtains and pretend I'm not home. I'd go to a restaurant for my favorite dish but I don't have an appetite for anything but grief I don't put on makeup I don't fix my hair I just take up space Right here in this chair No joy today No happy lies Just an all pervasive sadness ina mostuncertain time. * WordPlaya, May 2009
