I'll help you walk my mile
Here you go my friend, I'll lend you my shoes, For the mile you're about to walk, The one that I have just conquered. Time and time again you'll fall, Just like I did, You'll pick yourself up, Just in time to be tripped up, Then you'll punish yourself, Every time to screw up. You'll wish every second, For someone to save ya, Only to hate yourself, For inconveniencing your saviour. Day in and day out, Self loathing will grow, Until no more can fill, That tiny head of yours. Time and time again you'll fall, Just the same as I still do, But you'll pick yourself up again, Though it hurts inside to, Knowing each time you screw up or give in.
