I’ll Never Forget

I’ll never forget That horrible day For it is etched into my memory now And it won’t go away I didn’t plan to have fun and be humiliated All in the same night I wanted to retaliate but I figured that Two wrongs don’t make a right It made me so mad To see you with him It made my day seem So dull and dim I honestly wanted To get to know you more But you are just full of yourself And you are nothing but a desperate whore I guess you don’t care About my feelings at all You separated our friendship With a solid brick wall I feel like I Have been put under a curse Like it was all just an act Of which you perfectly rehearsed Congratulations gold digger Your dirty trick worked Are there any other ways That you can make my life worse? Is that the best you got? I know you got something else up your sleeve Some devilish plot That’s intended to make me bleed News flash this isn’t fiction Baby this is real I have emotions too And I’m not afraid to say how I feel I’m done with you I’ve wasted my time Tell me is wanting to be with you Such a crime? I’ve been hurt before And look at me I’m still alive With or without you in my life I’ll still survive By Glenn McCrary © 2009 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
