I Love the Season
I Love the Season I love to feel the seasonwith homes and tree’s aglow.I love to think of presents, All tied up with a bow.I love the smell of spices, As the cookies hit the plate.I love the taste of ChristmasWhile it tweets on my paletteBut most, I love the season…Because it brings to me;Not just the thoughts of presents,Spread out beneath the tree.Christmas brings a spirit,That begins within the heartWhy do we celebrate this day;Even when we are apart? The baby in a manger,A star that shown so bright; It signaled in a new born king;upon that holy night. The little hands so tiny, would heal the sick someday. The little feet all bundled up,would walk the chosen way.A Mother and a Father, who knew this baby boy;Would bring unto a darkened world,a reason for great joy.So, when you think of ChristmasDon’t forget the tiny child;Who came to give his life for us,With spirit meek and mild.It was not a coincidence,He had to climb each rungWhen in the garden he did bleedAnd on the cross he hung.

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
