I'M SCARED OF FIFTY
I\\'M SCARED OF FIFTY I think I\\'m scared of Fifty and facing my own mortality But the face staring back from the mirror is my reality. How did this happen so fast? Where did all those years go? It\\'s like a movie playing before me and it\\'s my biography. but I\\'m running it in slow motion, cause it\\'s running too fast for me. I can feel the sand from the hourglass slipping down. Through the hole in the middle, and I\\'m clawing my way back up, just to slide back down again I don\\'t want to panic but I ought to, seeing there\\'s not much time left. There are still things I want to do, before I\\'m forced to check out. So I better get going on it, the sooner now, the better. Fifty sounds so old to me, but it sure beats the hell out of the alternative! Wordplaya, April 2002
