I'm The Misery

I'm standing on the end of a dead road, Running out of time, No walks on the side, Nothing lives long, Dead trees, no leaves, Hard to move on. I'm lucky to be breathing, just barely, The thought of being half dead, nearly scares me. I should've stop to think a little, When i came to the fork in the middle, But every decision has an outcome, And one could really live life, without a bad one. But I'm only human, I learn from the mistakes I've made, When i slip and fall, I get up and dust off the dirt and pain. I'll keep fighting to survive, And when each breath could be my last, She's the one, that helps me fight, For the air in my lungs Just to keep me alive. And i thank god, I have her, To help me through these tough times, I'd be nothing, without that girl loving me, Because I'm the misery, That loves her company.
