I See You are an Angel
Baby girl I love you more Than words can ever say Your bright, dark, little chocolate eyes Just take my breath away. Your new life gives a reverence As you cuddle in my arms. I feel the love you have to give The vastness of your tender charms. Your tiny head so small and round decked out with raven hair. Your skin so soft and smells so sweet Your tiny hands and feet are bare. . The light pink of your frilly dress lights up your cherub face. The architect who designed you Framed you in perfect grace. I will always love you Presley. No matter how you run life's race I'll hold your heart so close to me And see your lovely angel face. Written for my new grandaughter Presley. I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
