I should've

I wish I'd done more; Like learning to tickle a guitar's chords and make it breathe mellifluous notes, Mastering first position to sixth position then move onto adagio to allégro to en pointe, Perhaps write a novel or two and dozens of sonnets, haikus, ballads, elegies and so forth. But i was too busy planning lessons and reflecting on my previous ones. I wish I'd done more; Visit Table mountain, Kilimanjaro and even Everest while i had the bones, Confront my deepest fears - do bungee jumping to swimming with the sharks, The Grand Canyon skywalk? I wish I'd have done it too. I should've done more, but I was too busy preparing standardised tests.

You may see the world thru my words. You may see yourself thru my words. But mostly you may assume my poetry is about me. If a line kicks off the edge, imagine what a poem would do.
