I Thought Love...

I never thought letting go of someone you love hurt this much. I thought love.. was happiness and serenity all wrapped up in a small, dandy package No tears, no pain, no scars Nothing by smiles and joy that ran through your veins all day, all night, all the time I thought love... was beauty and a miracle that made someone soar with compassion and understanding No bruises, no screams, no broken bones Nothing but sweet, tender, calm kisses that made the heart dance with excitement and curiosity I thought love... was when someone would die, cry, scream, hurt, sacrifice it all, everything, for someone ...I thought wrong. This love, I thought I felt Wasn't love... And if it was thee, I wouldn't have these scars, tears, and this pain That remained And always will.. I listened to this song while I wrote this and I figured if you wanted to you could too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGRO05WcNDk&feature=related
