I Thought You Were Different

You know these recent conversations that we’ve been having Seemed to have proved me wrong about you This time around I thought you would be different But whatever I guess it wasn’t true You’re still acting like a bitch Like you always do You’re the biggest bitch of them all And there is really nothing to compare to I can’t believe you It’s like I can never win You always got me confused And my head is always in a spin The feeling of guilt Is starting to take over me again I guess I made a mistake because for once I thought That I had gained back a friend Well it looks like I’ve hit another dead end I always thought that you would know when to say when This is not the position that I thought I would find myself in Sweetheart don’t be afraid Let me feel what you feel There is no need to block me With a wall of steel I see there’s no use in trying Because your heart has been officially sealed The damage has already been done So here is your bill By Glenn McCrary © 2010 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
