I’ve changed my mind (More Fun) A Sonnet for Blondie and Kim-Boy
Blondie, one morning, was playing in his garden (oh, more fun, more fun!) Thick, ursine, and void he is (oh, so void, so void!); “Hi there Kim-Boy! Come out to play!” (oh such fun, such fun!) Let’s cavort in Singapore so fair (so fair, so fair!). Kim-Boy nodded and grinned, (grin, grin, grinning) So chummy and open was he (so chummy, so chummy!); But Blondie played with his friends elsewhere (oh dear, oh dear) Kim-Boy, no longer smiley was he (so jealous, oh dear). “I’m not playing” said he to Blondie (oh dear, oh dear) Blondie, upset was he, “truly sad” said he (truly sad, so sad); “Let’s kiss and make up” said he (said he, said he) “Ok” said Kim-Boy – “let’s cavort” (so happy, so happy?). So nice to see the children at play, One day grow up and sense display? Not too serious a piece - as a follow-up to my previous contribution about Blondie and Smiley Kim-Boy. Enjoy..... Incidentally, I should explain that Blondie is a thinly- disguised President Trump and Smiley Kim-Boy is an equally thinly disguised President Kim Jong-un! All to do with their latest contacts with each other!

Love creativity - especially writing - poems especially. Love my wife, cats, our church, reading, warm weather (so rare here!) and snow - quite common these days - even in spring....
