I wait upon the touch Of a haunting melody I linger in the reach Of a soothing remedy - I gasp desperately for air But the air gets thicker still Getting weaker by the minute But I won’t give up until - I’ll learn the ways of the wild I’ll make myself stronger Put the pain aside Hold out for a little bit longer - Reach for hope, cry for truth All fairytales so what’s the use Listen close, drown out the cries Drown out despair, shut your eyes - Eat sleep and breathe feigned sincerity All come to believe in this tainted liberty Ignore the hand that leads you Love those that deceive you
