I would

·Duchess

Where have you gone? I cannot find you I am afraid- Into the mist you vaporised I look and I search but you are invisible. By night in my dreams I pursue you I awake exhausted from my slumber Did I pause to sleep? My anguish engulfs me Why did I let you down? Will you forgive me? "Be calm" they tell me, you had no control My inner instinct battles a bloody battle Im sorry my bairn My heart is broken, fractured beyond repair. If I could turn back the hands of time "I would" If I could soak up your pain "I would" If I could swallow your distress "I would" Never should you have endured the hurt you did. Patience is a wonderful thing, my inner being is oiled with it. I will be here for you on your return my precious one.

Duchess

Im a married mother of one, who enjoys melting away into poetry from time to time. Im no proffessional and nor do I esteem to be, I just want to enjoy it.
