Ice cream and summer days

Passionfruit ice cream and summer days. A lifetime wrapped up in a lover’s gaze. Two hearts meet. Moonlight on water and tender good byes. Talk through the night just to see the sun rise. Love complete. Her face is a mask: so serene. Underneath her heart is bleeding. Ice cream and summer, how distant it seems. Autumn arrives with its tumble down dreams. Leaves turn brown. Moonlight still shines but the river has run. Words that are spoken can not be undone. Love has flown. Her face is a mask: so serene. Underneath her heart is bleeding. Willow tree weeps to see her dark despair. Sparrows will lend a sympathetic ear to her pain. Sunshine has given way to driving rain. She reads the letter again and again and again.
