If I Gave My Heart To You

I look into your endearing eyes, and I see the reflection of everything I am. Everything I long to be, or perhaps be apart of, Either way I think about you often, and I wonder what you think about. I wonder what you like & don't. And each time I see you I’m breathless. I want to stay in your eyes forever. When I can’t find the words to say, You give me a perfect, brilliant smile, That says you know, and yet again, I am breathless. From the first moment I saw you, I knew that there was something different. Your beauty shocks me, I fall fast in my own surprise. I can't believe you’d be apart of my life; Something so delicate, so far away; Something so beautiful, so ready to stay. There's no rational explanation. And I don't understand it. Stuck, between where I am, And where I want to be. What would you say to me? Would you tell me it just a phase? Would you look down on me? Or act as if nothing was said? Should I go on and just pretend? And yet I feel like I should choose. If all fine, why can’t I say? Why do I fear it won’t be ok? I am sick of standing far away, All I want is out and yet to stay. and would you keep it, if i gave my heart to you.
