If I were a dog
If I were a dog I could lick your hands In order to let you know That I would like for you to pet me And so I guess I wish I was a dog So that you would let me Because even though we people We are able to talk We speak communicating We face trouble being honest When it comes to our true intentions For first one articulates the words And in order to do so One must comprehend them How and why they come together But we are sometimes faced with What we do not understand But we are faced with it Trying to force an expression That most likely Will just turn out wrong So like I said I guess I wish I was a dog So I could let you know Without it being weird
