If Tongues Were Guns

·Boffin

If tongues were guns the spit from your lips would be bullets Your mouth would gun down innocent people Your roaring stomach would open to war scenes The bad things that happen in your sleep wouldn't be dreams Reality is but a trigger away from destruction And where the trigger taunts the barrel is its only seduction If toungues were guns i would lay Edens apple on my head To show you your unpure heart I lay aside your trembling start to picture a target On my head it lays to point my heavy head to the dusty ground And as i lay with lips to the floor The bullet you hold hides behind hells door Keep your soaring bullet in its barrell And never devour hells powder Keep its rain but accept heavens power Live behind the barrell and feel its terror Before releasing those bullets you so often scatter By the gun you obide And by the gun you live on hells side But if i told you and not myself I would often be committing suicide.
