Illusions of a Hummingbird

28 Jan 2009

·hellfire

I am nothing but a hummingbird, trapped inarusty cage of mediocrity Yearning for the sweet allure of nectar green, Hovering aloft these techni-coloured blankets The playing fields of innocence, where I used to roam Casting frivolities beyond the aurora glistening on the curvature of my blessed wings Flapping memories, now fading into walls of obscurities I am nothing but a hummingbird Maybe, just maybe…. I yielded too soon.
