In Pictures
I’ll take you in pictures- All of the burps and the whimpers of woes. All of the happiness and the ‘one night only’ shows. The sweetness, the cuteness, your sprinkle of sparks And the sickness and sadness, with features so stark. My anxious mood, understandably just. And the discovery that distrust is a must. My non-existence that turned to yours. Then I locked all the windows and bolted the doors. Those images of tubes, wires and ‘that beep’. My memories unwanted, I’m forced to keep. Small and silent, box-shaped and shut. vanished to dust, anything but. These scenes in mind, crystal and fine I’ll take you in pictures But only in pictures, mine.
