Inner Reflections
A stranger greets me, he stares me in the eyes. I think to myself... Somehow, his face reminds me of a person I once knew. I try and better understand all these questions in my head (where, why, when) what had happened... In his face you can see life has taken its prize. Time has shriveled all but his dark brown eyes... Somehow they appear cold, distant, as if everyday has become more of a yesterday, than tomorrow might ever be. I quickly shut my emotions try and escape this "forced" confrontation. To no avail, I now understand I have to make peace with this old man, I have become.
