Innocence!

For all ye who have been in innocence brought (up), For ye who the world in innocence see, My heart goes out for the simple beliefs, For all ye who in defiance stand, They one day shall shake my hand, Even if I may be lost, They will realize innocence’s draught. The mist clears slowly though, May that wait receive sun’s full glow, One day all that fog will dissipate, One day night again will show her face Till then revel receive sun’s rays The lands bear promises of harvest, Sprout from them virulent fruits, And blood splattered across the mountains, Who may still see beauty o innocence? I was innocence I played with true laughter, I was alone alas! No laugh was true, Now I will go, Now I will be lost, Some day you will realize innocence’s draught.
