Innocence Death
A mother's worry A father's dread For the child that Lays upon the bed The bed of Death The bed of Sorrow Will the child live To see tomarrow? A weak heart beat His color drained He embraces sweet Death For life is full of pain Can doctors save him? Or wil it be too late? If the problem's unknown What is the child's fate? 'Hold on a little longer!' His mother cried But he hasn't much time To say his goodbyes 'I love you Mommy' He gasped in pain 'I love you Daddy' Hecriedwithstrain 'Jesus is here' He sighed with a smile 'And IthinkI willgo With him for a while.' So in him mother's arms He died with no fight As he followed Jesus Into the Light.
