Innocent Crimes
Innocent Crimes Stanza 1 Stanza 2 They judge me by the fact As they judge I turn my back That my face doesn’t shine Not to face their signs They judge me on account Their judging so I amount That I did no crime To nothing in my prime They spoil me just enough Their verdict made tough So they can throw me away Enough, to hide away Helping me to die Breaking free from their lies So their lies can live My sacrifice to live Through their reality A short-lived eternity I’m left dispersed in their filth With a million years to live
