Insignificant
With silence as the only witness To my despair I begin to fall apart Inside my heart cries out But my face is a mask No one must ever know My tears, my pleas Are overheard by silence But remain unknown To the rest of the world Too absorbed in greater things I am insignificant The silence is the only witness to my despair.
