(So here is another write, it's one i am actually fond of but my piers think it's insane, who's to say thats why I await your posts Vamp) Intoxicated Brilliance Sleep crept behind him, His eyes were growing dim. The energy was vacant, His body mostly spent. Longed for rest and relaxation, To escape from world intoxication. But drunk became the man, Tripping where he ran. Escape was not so easy, From the world dishonourable and sleazy. He can not make a difference, When all he has is reference. He needs example, explanation, To prove the world an abomination. Or else he screams a drunken rage, To be thrown in jail, locked in cage. The sleaze prevail sitting at the bar, Living with environmental war. Drinking ignorant ale, Not realizing why they fail. Liqueur a man made substance, Gives unrealistic sustenance. The world reeks of booze, Living in alcoholic ooze. An exhausted drunkard tried to tell, But his message viewed as alcohol induced yell, Sat on the stale air, And Died as something rare. -Nov. 06 Sheena Allen
