Invisible Stitches
You come to me misshapen, awry. I never need to ask you why but make you laugh out the tears from your eyes, then you smile and kiss me hello. We work and play, no spaces between, our minds as one, our wits always keen. You touch me in places no other man's seen with invisible stitches you sew. So safe, so warm, so tender, so calm, your presence erases all previous harm for you are elixir, my all-purpose balm and you've never learned how to say "No". With how many names shall I endow you? Less than the stars, more than a few but one alone describes through and through my very own clown, my Pierrot. It's difficult when it is time to diverge. As you walk away, all my fears re-emerge but almost instantly faith will resurge. Then I smile as my feet turn to go.
