Israel's Snow
Israel's Snow Desert sands, pull me now under your spell beneath your heat Searing winds, I hear your sough My Israel My bittersweet Under Heaven, I hear your cry Jerusalem your ancient soul Became what can't be justified Burdensome; I need you whole From the Walls of Paradise to Sheol's Fires and everything under stars of sapphires The liquid gold over mountains of dawn all secrets are buried and prophecy born And behind a story of betrayal and sorrow is Israel's snow - the Desert's Tomorrow What is my sin that I should feed on shards of bone our captor's err My broken land, I see you bleed Will we atone with spice and myrrh Egyptian breeze, you know my face you feel me out with cold night hands Once, we knew this wont embrace Jerusalem's doubt on African sands Now here I am, inside a prayer I'm underneath revealing eyes Desert winds stripped my soul bare I'm dancing in snow to the Desert's sighs -to my ancestors with love, "Dai Dai-anu."

*AeonFlux*
Right now I'm in nursing school, but writing always was and always will be my first love. Oh, and I love anything bizarre!!
