It all ends here
It all ends here. No longer can I monger in that giant hump, Linger, ever linger bustled in the bump, here is where I part, to my all consuming fate, Here is when it stops, My ability to relate. I was able to pretend- part of a shuffling progression, Gleeful of the riddence of childhood’s protection and oppression, Meeting all the milestones Progressing\dropping back Trying all the new things and all the other crap But my time has arrived, I knew it would come when my casual walk beside them will slow down to the one. not part of the medium, no longer near the mean, an outlier, an outsider, black in worlds of creme. Before-I could pretend-just like them, -but it’s ok It was chosen The way my life could only be I’m just breathing in my last breaths, of glamorous normalcy. I used it well
