It Isn't Very Easy

It Isn’t Very Easy, It isn’t very easy, to grow up in this world… It’s hard to see the magic, when the whole place is unfurled. It isn’t very easy to, learn to tie your shoes… Or find someone to help you to wipe away your blues. It isn’t very easy, to learn your own heart song when people treat you unkindly, All the whole day long. It isn’t very easy, tofind someone who cares… Who’ll help you grow up learning That God will answer prayers. It may not be so easy, to understand the World… With wicked men who choose to cheat, And in their mind are twirled. Just remember love and beauty the friends who’ll always stay… Mom and Dad and family Who’ll help along the way. If you ever doubt your heart, And really aren’t sure… Fall on your knees and talk to God, He’ll help you to endure. (Written for my children’s collection) Ilamae Stucki © June 26, 2010

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
