It's All In The Word "If"

IT’S ALL IN THE WORD “IF” If I concede to the reality in front of me, Then all my hope belongs in the word “if” If I accept the road ahead of me, Then does my past still exist as I remember it? If things are moving on, Then what place do I now take? If what I feel, feels so right and good, How do I then let it all go? If another love takes place and flourishes beyond me, What then happens to the love still alive in me? If I had what I want but watched it slip away from me, Then what do I do with the fear of never finding it again? If I now have so much more money Why do I then feel so very poor? If I tried to remain true to my heart, Why do I then feel no more truth in me?
