It touched My Spirit
It Touched My Spirit The low hung clouds in shades of gray, Announced another dreary day. The rain fell soft and silently, My spirit imploded immediately. The clouds began to part their ways Sunlight peeked through with golden rays Caught in the mist and changed the plight, Emblazoned with smallest prisms of light A rainbow broke the sullen day. It sent the sad gray clouds away. It touched my spirit and made it bright. Amazing what becomes of light! IlaMae Stucki (c) May 2012

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
