Jumper (revised)
I sit, unmoving, my feet hang loosely off the side of the dry cliff. The thoughts have finally dissolved and no longer scratch at the insides of my hollow mind.I gently tremble as a cold breeze sweeps it's way across my warm face.I wait, but for what? For the stars to burst into beautiful white suns? or the sky to swallow the earth whole? It can't all be hopless, hope has to beflowing through the air somehow.The flame deep inside me came to life, burning madly, shaking me awake. Dazed with confusion, i cautiously step back from the edge. My dreams and life thank me for sparing them. What was i thinking? I walked away, leaving not only the bad spirit within me, but also my past.
