just a day at the office
'Have it on my desk!' he hisses at me 'Before you leave', sipping his coffee 'Yes sir I will' my standard reply In my mind, I hope you die "Can you help me please" she asks so sweet "You're a star thanks!" as I get to my feet "Can't thank you enough!" she says over my shoulder I can think of how...just bend over "Your time sheets wrong" he says with glee "No overtime budgeted" his eyes mocking me "I understand sir" I say and leave Your life my friend, soon comming to its eve And here I find my self pondering the do's and dont's of life's offerings "Wheres my coffee!" he says with a snarled upper lip "Its coming sir" just pulling up my zip...

Would the old me like the me I have become? I wonder if he would have been my friend Would he see me, then turn around and run? Knowing that me is how he would be in the end
