You were looking out for me Lord 
when I was searching for You, 
kept me in Your sight , 
understanding my faults, accepting me despite, 
just as I am. 
You were reaching out for me Lord 
when I was grasping for You, 
took my heart in Your embrace, 
felt I had gazed upon Your face, loving me 
just as I am. 
Your were walking with me Lord 
when I felt so alone. 
when the path was too long, 
making me strong, wantingme 
justas I am. 
You stayed with me Lord 
when I was angry with myself, 
calmly waited as the anger turned to You, 
but still You waited patiently for me to return. 
Loving me just as I am.
