Just Existing
Just Existing there she sat with the sofa supported by a mess of lime green cushions she sat and stared she instictively flicked her cigarette as had a million times before she puffed and exhaled in slow elapsed motions still she stared no smile no frown just two hollow eyes a thin nose and beneath it all hiding two pinched lips from those lips many had been cursed from those lips few if any had recieved praise the eyes contained no sparkle and never had seen a first sighted love gravities constant force had done its duty well on her linking lines zig-zagged her sunken face like a crazy angry maze still she sat and stared blinking once twice a third time another puff flick inhale exhale blink blink puff wait to flick starting to stir perhaps to get comfortable then she let her eyelids close as if to say " i might as well give up on that too" if one were forced inside her wretched body they would likely drown in tears never shed her posture and position proved she had been battered before birth her eyes flittered and glittered and her tired heart refused to beat on her body gave in and slumped over and for the first time in her life... she looked peaceful
