Gentler than a bee lighting on a flower stronger than the wind that comes with sudden shower Softer than the feel of the softest rose petal yet harder than the feel of hardest gun metal Older than the first story ever told yet younger than the last poet put to note Freer than a child whose danger is unknown yet careful as the old whose innocence is shorn Comfortable as can be, yet living on the edge Giving it all away, while keeping our pledge You, me Look, see Plans, dreams Not always what they seem are they?
