I would watch them float, across the silence. The rugged shapes always beautiful. The beginning of nothingness rejuvenate your soul, Listen to the wind as it moves the stars. Never could I ever feel this peace beyond this horizon, As the passion drifts where the concrete fall. Will the young ever gaze this? Almost out of our hands, Will they ever find that true happiness? That a chosen few find. Will the beauty prevail to capture their soul? Will the origins, now so bleak, return? Will the passions ever weak, strengthen? Will true meaning embed its’ footprints once again? The ancient sands weave a ballad in the mind, Harmony. Patterns dance the surface. The unforgiving splendor embraced in color, As the sun drench the dunes. Scurrying wildness across the sands. How long will it remain? The years of fear deepen ahead. For every dryness there falls a drop of rain. To whom will this wonder fall eyes upon, in this race of extinction? For whom will the last star shine, in this life of restriction? Each day welcome a golden glaze or darkened sky, Your beauty; a throne. The ghostly skeletons of trees of age reach the skies, Along where the rivers wound astray. The stories of survival whisper in the breeze, And underneath the sea of sand, they lay! Your legend will remain, In the heart, in the soul, in the mind! Your beauty will forever astound, Through the rain, through the shine, it will never frail!

I live out in the bush veld away from society. I love art, writing songs and poetry, photography and music... and mindfulness. I feel a good way to free your soul of obstacles and uncertainties, and basically anything in life, is to express yourself...
