Windows I often look in the windows, as I go on my way, & wonder, there behind them, What sort of people stay. Some look so bright & friendly, With flowers upon the sill, & some look slaid and solemn, Shut tight remote & still. Our hearts can be like the windows, Which welcome or repel? How good to find the open one’s Where love & kindness dwells.
