Kid in the Middle
Dedicated to those who were the middle child as I was Life can be cruel, life can be mean When one is a middle child of three One that is sandwiched in between Ignored and unwanted just like me My dad he dotes on older sister Sue My mother hugs little brother Luke I’m a neglected, lonely number two Being in the middle makes me puke Granting privileges to first born Sue Cosseting Luke and spoil him rotten I just get asked ‘And who are you? The middle child is always forgotten I run away as I am feeling so alone I’m adopted by a couple named Lee They have two children of their own Once again I am the middle of three
