A child like any other, full of love, full of life Just living each day, happy, without strife Till the day he met trauma with his parents’ divorce He became anti-social, not feeling remorse Exchanged between relatives, Nothing he could say Feeling all alone And reminiscing about yesterday The Pistols and Joy Division became his close friends He knew he had to do something, before it all ends He picked up a pen and filled the paper with feelings Emptying out his soul, his heart he was freeing In nineteen eighty six Nirvana was formed Their music was catchy, but their lyrics- deformed With the release of “Nevermind”, the band became whole But Cobain found himself spinning, way out of control The overnight fame became too much to bear He had to escape, he felt trapped everywhere He used heroin to calm, and ease all his pain Since touring and performing became a big strain The band were doing fine, With the release of new albums But Kurt’s marriage to Courtney, Had him faced with new problems In and out of hospitals - addiction so bad Still in distress, he was forced to rehab He stayed with the program just a couple of days Till he made his escape and embraced his old ways Twenty seven was the genius when he was found dead His body filled with drugs with a hole in his head It still remains a mystery the way he had died Because when I say murder, others shout suicide A talented person with his whole life to live Robbed of his innocence, just thoughts he could give Though he chose drugs we still loved him so dearly His immortal songs still speaks to us so clearly **Kurt Donald Cobain was found shot to death in his Seatle apartment. His body contain large amounts of herion, and a pointblank range gun shot wound to the head. THE OBVIOUS QUESTIONS: 1. If Cobain injected himself with a deliberate heroin overdose, why would he ALSO shoot himself in the head with a shotgun, leaving his baby daughter - the love of his life - with horrific visual images to remember him by? Why not just "go to sleep" on the overdose and never wake up? 2. IF Cobain injected three times a lethal dose of heroin, COULD he then pick up a shotgun and shoot himself? Wouldn't he have been immediately incapacitated? Based on the heroin, (morphine), blood levels found in Cobain's body, preliminary research indicates Kurt Cobain would have been immediately incapacitated. He could not have picked up that shotgun.
