Large yet small
I am larger than your average girl Larger than life But am I really? i feel small insignificant I am larger than her Yet who do you notice first? My smile might not be as perfect But whose eyes shine brighter? They shine from my smile Or from the glistening tears Who knows? They have become one and the same The tears wash away the smile as soon as it appears. She is smaller in every way but one. In your eyes i am smaller. Oh, how i wish to be smaller But not like that. Not to you I am larger than her Yet i am smaller.
