Last Call
with a full face of indignant steam she stared into her twisted reflection unbelieving. mad as hell at the face who stared back, unflinching. she looked beyond the red, smeared lips sneering and tried to remember that demure, shy girl who laughed and smiled ages ago, when her world was a kinder place full of innocence and dreams... slamming her drink against the wall she yelled out to no one there, 'get me a scotch and water, fool!' and then, sat down with a thump 'where did all the years go?' she screamed 'you once had it all and now, what!' 'look at you, so pathetic' she picked up the bottle and raised it to those red, smeared lips smashing it to the floor along with the rest of her horrid life before turning the lights out, for the last time...
